What Does the Bible Say About..?

For Purim, can God use a beauty pageant to save his people? Why were the prophets seemingly obsessed with women in labor? Why are certain verses or chapters placed just where they are? These are this month's articles.

The most popular articles in January were "Biblical Ravens" from 10/03, "As a Roaring Lion" from 10/02, "What Is Salvation?" from 11/04, "Replacement Theory" from 6/00, "Passover: No Leaven" from 4/010, "One Day Before Death" from 4/01, and "The Kingdom of Heaven" from last month.

All articles that I have recorded to .mp3 are available in audio, for those who have difficulty reading the print version or those who choose to listen to the articles on-the-go. The audio articles can be found at the Index of Audio Articles. You may also request articles from earlier months in mp3 format.

In January, hot questions included questions about whether disasters are punishments from God, who cast the devil out of heaven, and various questions about marriage and infidelity, and about the meanings of numbers in the Bible.

With almost 800 questions already posted, many of the questions I get have already been answered. Others are asking for counseling, which I do not do, or questions of specific rather than general interest. If you have a question you want to ask, please use the search feature to see whether it has already been answered. Otherwise, my answer may just refer you to a previously posted question.

Several new questions will be posted in mid-February. Finally, some new questions on the site!
